Abstract
Propriospinal myoclnus is uncommon disorder characterized by arrhythmic jerk arising in muscles corresponding to a myelomere and spreading rostrally and caudally. Propriospinal myoclnus occurring only in the relaxation period preceding sleep was first described in 1997, and is extremely rare. Myoclonus showed a striking relationship with vigilance level. We report a case of propriospinal myoclnus at sleep onset with a polysomnographic and electromyographic studies, who is the first case in Korea to the best of our knowledge.
